ABOUT
“My name is Karl Kristian Jahnsen Hus, and I come from a small island on the west coast of Norway. Growing up surrounded by cameras, I developed a deep understanding and passion for photography. From an early age, I was introduced by my parents to a wide range of cultures, which shaped my worldview and inspired my creative journey.
My greatest passion is to use photography as a bridge, a way to give animals a voice and invite people to see the world through their eyes. Every image I capture aims to reveal their beauty, spirit, and the role they play in the symbiosis of life on Earth. I believe deeply in the interconnectedness of all living beings, where every species depends on one another for survival. It breaks my heart to see the harm we inflict on one another and on our planet, knowing we are capable of so much more - of compassion, love, and transformative change.
Through my imagery, I aim to share messages of love and humanity while breaking down prejudices. I have travelled extensively, photographing wildlife, diverse cultures, and the people I encounter along the way. With every image I create, I strive to capture the essence of life, telling a visual story that celebrates connection, understanding, and love.”
